Why Volunteer?

Volunteering with the Society is a great opportunity for you to make a positive impact in your community, be part of a team, share your experience, learn new skills and develop lasting friendships. Volunteers are critical to our accomplishments and we wouldn’t be able to support, inform and empower those touched by cancer without you.

When you join our nationwide team, you have the combined strength of volunteers from across the country standing behind you to help you make a difference in someone’s life.

About 500 people in India lend their hands and hearts to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life of people living with cancer. If you would like to join our volunteer team, click here to search for opportunities, based on your interests and preferences.

Once you have applied to volunteer, you can sign up to attend a volunteer orientation, share volunteer opportunities with friends, log your volunteer time and accomplishments, and review your past involvement.

Ways to Volunteer

Volunteers

The Rose Garden’s strongest asset is our dedicated volunteers. By offering the most meaningful opportunities for you to make the biggest difference as a volunteer, we’re having more impact, against more cancers, in more communities, than any other cancer charity.

To get the most out of your volunteer experience we encourage you to pursue your interests, challenge yourself by trying new activities and get connected with others. You can choose from volunteer opportunities in a variety of areas that can match your skills, interests and availability.

We offer a flexible range of ways to become involved, no matter how much time you have or the skills you are looking to share. Our volunteer opportunities include fundraising activities, health promotion, advocating for prevention, supporting people with cancer, office support and leadership roles.

Volunteer opportunities are available across Tamilnadu.
